Doyle-Ahern Appointed to YWCA Board of Trustees
1/8/2010 - Columbus: EMH&T’s Executive Vice President Sandra C. Doyle-Ahern has been appointed to the YWCA of Columbus Board of Trustees.
The YWCA of Columbus board consists of a maximum of 32 trustees who not only provide valuable policy direction and programmatic and financial oversight to the YWCA staff, but also serve as constant advocates for the work of the YWCA. Ms. Doyle-Ahern has begun a three-year term on the Board.
Ms. Doyle-Ahern has oversight responsibility for the Public Works, Transportation, Traffic, Environmental, Cultural Resources, Water Resources, Geospatial Solutions, and Infratechnologies divisions at EMH&T. With a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in environmental science from Miami University to her credit, Ms. Doyle-Ahern began her journey with EMH&T in 1997, leading the company’s first Environmental Department.
Ms. Doyle-Ahern is an active member of the environmental community, serving in lead positions in a number of organizations. She was honored in 2004 by the Watershed Management Association of Ohio with the R. Livingston Ireland Water Resources Achievement Award and by Business First Magazine of Columbus as a Top 40 Under Forty community leader. She is highly published and has traveled around the country representing projects for EMH&T.
