I-71 Along US250 Water & Sewer Extension

The City of Ashland was looking to extend water and sewer service to an area east of I-71. This improvement would alleviate issues associated with onsite treatment systems of the already established commercial properties, and allow for additional commercial development. EMH&T initially performed a feasibility study to understand the routing and sizing necessary for the water and sewer service to the area. Subsequently, the City engaged EMH&T to design these improvements which were complicated by the skewed geometry of the US 250/I-71 interchange and the extensive natural areas within this corridor.
