Ridgeway Road Bridge over West Dorothy Lane

The Ridgeway Road Bridge over West Dorothy Lane was recently replaced with numerous upgraded features from the original bridge, some of which included: improved pedestrian facilities, increased vertical clearance over Dorothy Lane, and a commissioned piece of art from CitySites Public Art Program with the City of Kettering.

A unique piece of the project was the Foliage artwork integrated into the project site by Cliff Garten Studio (CGS), of Venice, CA. According to the City of Kettering, “Foliage demonstrates the belief that design of infrastructure to serve the needs of the public should also be visually engaging, creating a memorable place, and a specific identity for the community it serves.”
