Summer Season is Upon Us in Central Ohio!
Environmental regulations have a significant impact on a project’s schedule, and require ecological field surveys that have obligatory seasonal limitations―and understanding these timing constraints is key to keeping a project on schedule. This summer season, environmental scientists Christine and Aaron journeyed afield to collect data regarding any amphibian species found to be breeding in a wetland in central Ohio. The data will then be used to establish species richness, and to determine a relative abundance, or amphibian population density for the specified area, and used in combination with vegetation and hydrology to determine the impact of a surrounding development on this protected wetland area.
