Women’s History Month

#WomensHistoryMonth was established in March of 1987 for the purpose of commemorating and encouraging the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. One such trailblazer, Nora Stanton Blatch, was the first woman in the United States to receive a degree in civil engineering, which was awarded by Cornell University in 1905. EMH&T celebrates the role of women in American history, especially women that paved the way in STEM fields. At EMH&T we have no shortage of reasons to celebrate the role and impact of women each and every day.
