CIVIL ENGINEERING AUTOCAD TECHNICIAN 

EMH&T is currently seeking CAD Technician to join our Development II team. The Development II team supports commercial, retail, medical, higher education projects and more. The Technician works collaboratively within a civil engineering team to understand the requirements of initial designs and turns them into accurate and detailed engineered construction plans using AutoCAD/Civil3D platform and/or ArcMap. You will draft technical engineering design components (e.g. plans, profiles, exhibits, base map changes making redlined corrections, mark-ups or setup drawings from grading points and work changes); assist with preliminary and completed layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings from technical notes, sketches, and/or other drawings, ensuring they meet our company and industry standards and codes; and performs additional duties as assigned. Our Technicians learn the EMH&T drafting and design standards and become an integral part of the production team.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates may have some technical education, specialized training or work experience with one or more CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Microstation, ARC/INFO; knowledge of basic math (geometry) involved in the production and use of drawings or models; and some work experience with drafting.
