HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
EMH&T has an opportunity for a Human Resource professional to join our team as HR Coordinator in Columbus, OH.
The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in a variety of human resources services supporting the human resource needs of the business with a particular focus on recruiting and our safety program.
The Human Resource team supports all of EMH&T’s 330+ multi-disciplined professionals specializing in civil engineering, surveying, planning, and environmental management located in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting – Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and help to facilitate recruitment strategies. Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate feedback and manage the end-to-end recruitment process. Manage sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, Handshake, Glassdoor, Indeed, other job boards, professional associations. Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS). Assists with other recruitment tasks as needed.
- College Recruiting – Coordinate and attend college career fairs and other recruiting events. Build and maintain relationships with universities and student industry organizations. Manage the Student Intern program.
- Safety Program – Coordinate the safety program which includes annual safety training, monitor weekly/monthly safety training, monitor certifications and renewal deadlines, manage a number of safety databases and our random screening program.
- Human Resource Management – Support the HR team in other areas including benefits, on-boarding, record keeping, compliance, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and dependability
- Cultural awareness
