CIVIL ENGINEER PE
EMH&T has an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our Development II team located in Columbus, OH.
As a Senior Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the project team to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges that may arise.
Our Development II team typically works on projects that involve commercial site development design in industries including data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the project team to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges.
- Initiate work or consultation with internal departments in such areas of transportation, environmental, stormwater.
- May be involved in identifying and acquiring essential information needed to complete assignments, e.g. municipal standards, local utility and/or Owner requirements.
- Assist by planning and organizing workflow, providing technical oversight of various project components, overseeing the preparation of design calculations, details and specifications, as well as assisting with plan reviews and modifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in land or infrastructure development.
- Licensed PE in Ohio.
- Diverse experience and mature judgment in applying engineering principles and techniques to assist project team to create thorough plans for complex and diverse projects.
