OPENROADS TECHNCIAN
EMH&T is currently seeking an Openroads Technician to join our Traffic team located in Columbus, OH.
The Openroads Technician works under the direction of a seasoned Designer or Engineer to create technical engineering design components such as plans, profiles, exhibits, base map changes making redlined corrections, mark-ups or setup drawings from grading points and work changes.
Our Traffic team expertise includes both design and traffic studies. The team is responsible for planning and design of traffic control, traffic signalization, maintenance of traffic during construction, roadway lighting, and signal systems including communication networks using wireless, fiber optic and other technologies. In addition, they work on Traffic Impact Studies, Safety Studies, Interchange Justification/Modification Studies, Signal Warrant Studies, Parking Studies, Traffic Forecasting, Pedestrian and Bikeway Planning, Thoroughfare Plans, and analysis of Freeways, Street Corridors and Networks.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates may have some technical education, specialized training or work experience with one or more CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Microstation/Open Roads, Integraph, ARC/INFO; knowledge of basic math (geometry) involved in the production and use of drawings or models; and some work experience with drafting.
